She's also Lucifer's bartender. (No, that's not a euphemism .)

I have not-so recently joined an RP.

It is a good RP.

It is a good RP because it lets me* say things like And I'm happy Disney set your hair on fire.

*Or more specifically Allegra Lenkeit, mortal descendant of Pandora and host of Elpis, to Lord Hades, Rules of the Underworld.

The ways of my people, let me show them to you.

If nobody asks "What's on fire?" then, gosh darn it, Yankee, you're just not doing it right.

If any of you been wondering at the silence, it's because I've been busy silly bee over yonder.

She did say head first, skinny.

You don't need to know me to know that I loved this.

I've got 6 icons and thus only 3 topics of conversation.

Sign # 27 of TMO*: I just tried to put my headphone back in...my eyes.

Also, True Blood 2. Who's with me on this?

I admit there's at least one "episode" devoted to the fact that Jareth likes Oreos.

Hmm. Haven't posted fanfic in a whiiiiile. Ironic, yes, since this was originally created to be a fic-journal. So, here you go. It's labbyfic, no less.

Some things to keep in mind:

1) I have a crippling fixation to the "they knew each other as kids" scenario.

2) I have of course a grandiose plot for this scenario. Will it ever see the light of online day? About as likely as the next Firefly movie.

3) I think Sarah would make a better queen than princess, but that's nothing compared to my love for her as a Fool.

lost scene: Sarah’s babysitters never lasted long. )

That classic kosher crunch!

Some of you may wonder why I consider the illustrious Sammy [info]re_white the murky, glorious light of my online life.

Why?

Because she is.

Wash your neck and pick out a handbasket, because we're taking a road trip!

Oh, this [info]novel_in_90 would be a terrible idea. Terrible. Catastrophic. Disastrous.

'Cuz my werewolves are underage, Roman, and there is no plot.

...y'all know where this is going.

Am I ranting? (Enough to get raves?)

Y'know if Bray's books read like her LJ advice, I'd stop using Terrible to beat small children.

On a similar note, hey hey, one LJ Smith's series is supposedly being made into a TV pilot. Since I still harbor a fond oozy affection for the woman's work, this is awesome. The fact that the series in question is Vampire Diaries is...less so. As is the suspicion that this more Twilight fallout.

Still, I grumble in hope.

The extra L shows the lurv.

Snuffling through the Labby archives on FF.Net. Found the following:

This Community's purpose is to showcase quality stories. 1. A quality story does not necessarilly have to have the best grammar, spelling, or punctuation to be included. A good story is a good story. 2. It is not necessary for Jareth and Sarah to get together for the story to be included.

That's right, kids; spelling is for sissies and communists!

SHE SMELLED DELICIOUS. LIKE BACON.

I heartily respect this.

Also, does anybody in the North Shore area want to buy a Nickelback ticket for the March show? It's middle row, $50, and burning a hole in my pocket.

Seriously, pork.

For the record, I did not get killed by a camel.

And am back in the US.

Send pork.

If anybody bombs me, I'm suing.

Guess who's leaving for Israel in, oh, 48 hours?

Hint: it ain't Britney.

My taste buds jumped up and kissed my brain!

So apparently Gael Greene, the incomparable Insatiable Critic, keeps an archive of her "vintage" reviews.

Internet, you didn't tell me this until today.

WHAT ELSE HAVE YOU BEEN KEEPING FROM ME?

Also being back on hobo "free" LJ account gives one no icon!lurv. But, frankly, I just can't bring myself to care.

She knows what she did.

Wow.

RPG flashback, like whoa.

Thank(?), Sammy.

Ten years of successfully resisting this fandom and then...bam.

"It takes a long time to grow young." - Picaso

25.

Heh.

Honestly, I thought I'd be halfway finished exploiting a small third world country by now.

It's that dream we carry with us
That something wonderful will happen,
That it has to happen,
That time will open,
That the heart will open,
That doors will open,
That the mountains will open,
That wells will leap up,
That the dream will open,
That one morning we'll slip in
To a harbor that we've never known.

College really does prepare you for work!

Currently I'm holding:

1) a beer
2) a plate of hot wings
3) a plaque with my name on it

..and am at work. Seriously.

Thank you, corporate America.

It's an optimistic day, my fellow apes.

Patricia McKillip has won WFA's Life Achievement. Double neat-o is the fact that the now retired Endicott Studios snagged the special award for non-professional work.

Ladies, you beautify my world.
